Nancy Kovack played Medea the epic action/fantasy film Jason and the Argonauts. Her role was memorable for males in my age group. Her screentime in this movie is much shorter than the past, however there's no doubt that the dance number she danced in is among the most memorable scenes. In addition, to add to the excitement, some say that Honor Blackman was cast as an actor for the role of Bondgirl, possibly because the producers wanted her voice overdubbed with a British accent. I just love these period movies in which everyone speaks Shakespearian... But regardless, Nancy Kovack was instantly recognizable on television and movie screens, mainly for her unbelievable cheekbones and smouldering eye. Her friendships included Tarzan, Batman and the Three Stooges. Also, Dean Martin, Captain Kirk and Elvis Presley. Was it Nancy Kovack's personality? Her characters' solid determination? Just her stunning figure? Nancy acknowledged that she had did not want to become an A-list film star and preferred supporting parts. But Nancy's 15-year long career was full of unexpected moments.
