Laura Linney was born in New York in New York on February 5, 1964. Linney is an American actress who is known for her talent in portraying powerful characters that are vulnerable. Linney came from an aristocratic family that loved theatre. Her father, Romulus Linney was a writer. Linney studied at the Arts Theatre School at Moscow, then graduated with her M.F.A. from Juilliard School. at New York City in 1990. In 1990, she began the beginning of her Broadway career. The audience praised her for her performances in both Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
