Amanda Righetti

Amanda Elizabeth Righetti is an American actor and producer. She is well known for being the character on CBS police procedural "The Mentalist"'s special agent Grace Van Pelt. Righetti was raised in Utah she always longed to dance. In the fourth year of her life, she began dancing. Her big-screen debut was in the film of 1995 "Love and Joy". As guest on CBS' CSI: Crime Scene Investigation guest, Righetti made her screen debut in a small format. Righetti started her modeling career when she was 14. After a few years, she moved into Los Angeles and continued to perform small, but important roles until she was cast in the character who recurred Hailey Nichol in Fox's teen drama 'The O.C.'. Righetti has also played important roles in the 2009 slasher film "Friday the 13th," the action film Captain America: The First Avenger' the Fox soap opera 'North Shore', and the drama series "Reunion".
